SYRACUSE – Wawasee will look to get its diamond work off to a good start Friday, hosting a pair of games.
The softball season opener, scheduled for Saturday with Westview, has been moved up to Friday, March 23, with a 5 p.m. first pitch at Wawasee.
The baseball scrimmage with Churubusco will also start at 5 p.m. Friday at Wawasee. The original date for the scrimmage was Saturday, but the temperature is expected to be hovering around 40 degrees, while Friday looks to be closer to 47 degrees.
Wawasee’s baseball regular season is scheduled to start next Wednesday at home against Wabash and game two Thursday, also at home against Manchester.
