George L. Hundt
George L. Hundt, 73, of Bremen, passed away in his Bremen family home and accepted the Lords calling on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Hundt was born Dec. 18, 1944, the son of the late Arthur and Helen (Hazen) Hundt, Sr.
He is survived by two sons, Scott (Tonya) Hundt and Chris (Elbia) Hundt and their mother Diana, all of Bremen; seven grandchildren, Gavin, Brock, Victoria, Jacqueline, Emma, Natalie, and Chloe; and four great grandchildren, Maddox, Graycen, Kaiden, and Shayla. He is also survived by nine siblings, Richard (Loretta) Hundt, Judy Lohagen, Carolyn (David) Colburn, Barbara (Steve) Harrington, Patty (Richard) Igelski, Paul (Christine) Hundt, Lila (Bill) Harmon, and Tenna (Mike) Walenga.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Arthur Hundt, Jr., Bob Hundt, William Hundt, Beverly Davis, and Delores Ogle , Kathy Garza and Luella.
Hundt was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Bremen. He worked as a supervisor in construction and was proud to have built one of the tallest buildings in downtown Charlotte, N.C. as well as many buildings across America including 100’s of homes in the Northern Indiana area. He loved giving to his family, his community and serving his savior Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, March 23, in Bremen Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, with one hour and half of visitation prior. Pastor Evan Garber will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Bremen Church of Brethren.
