Hugh J. Goldsworthy Sr.
Hugh J. Goldsworthy Sr., 66, Cromwell, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Avalon Village in Ligonier, as the result of natural causes. He was born on March 13, 1951, the son of Gayle and Eleanor (Hawley) Goldsworthy in Toledo, Ohio.
On Oct. 26, 1984, he married Debra A. Caudill; she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Hugh J. (Randy) Goldsworthy Jr. of Pierceton; and Paul David (Fiancée Kristine) Goldworthy of Syracuse; two grandchildren, Ally Goldsworthy and Falon Goldsworthy, at home; two siblings: Joy (Donald) Whitt and David (Debbie) Goldsworthy both Toledo, Ohio .
He was preceded in death by his parents; a stillborn son, Daniel Goldsworthy; two siblings, Gayle Goldsworthy Jr. and an infant sister Diane Goldsworthy.
He retired from Dana Corporation in Syracuse after 27 years of faithful service and had worked for seven years prior to that for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He was a member of St. Martin’s De Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse for over 30 years. Hugh loved his family, fishing and anything with a motor.
In keeping with Hugh’s wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
