Warsaw Track: Tigers Fifth In Bulldog Invite
FORT WAYNE – The Warsaw boys track team earned a fourth-place finish Saturday in the Bulldog Invitational held at IPFW.
The duo of Taylor Mills and Lucas Howett led the way for the Tigers. The outstanding distance duo placed second and third respectively in the 3,200. Mills clocked in at 10:12.82 with Howett right behind at 10:24.84.
Mills also teamed with Justin Fleming, Xavi Ramierez and Sam Lechlitner to place third in the 4 X 800 in a time of 8:48.75.
Howett teamed with Marston Norris, Fleming and Ramierez to earn a sixth-place finish in the Distance Medley Relay in a time of 11:44.52.
The quartet of Tanner Stiver, Keagan Larsh, Eli Owen and Alijah Wade placed fifth in the 4 X 400 in a time of 3:44.54.
The 4 X 200 team of Owen, Larsh, Cameron Neff and Wade were fifth in a time of 1:40.84.
John Svinarish was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 48.25.
Warsaw scored a total of 55 points in the meet.
The Tigers are scheduled to open their outdoor season on March 22 at Fort Wayne Snider in a triangular meet with Snider and East Noble.
