Man Arrested After Driving 135 MPH On Toll Road
LAGRANGE COUNTY — A man was arrested in LaGrange County after driving nearly twice the speed limit on the Indiana Toll Road.
At around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, an Indiana State Trooper caught a Chevy Malibu going 120 miles per hour near the Howe-LaGrange exit. The speed limit is just 70.
As the trooper was catching up to the car, it was paced at 135 miles per hour.
About ten miles after being spotted, the car was finally pulled over.
The driver, identified as 33-year-old Kevin Fisher of Windsor, New York, was arrested on a preliminary charge of reckless driving and taken to the LaGrange County jail.
