Justin Scott Adams
Justin Scott Adams, 30, Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2018, in Ligonier. He was born Feb. 21, 1988, the son of John McKibbin and Michelle Adams in Goshen.
He is survived by his son, Aiden Adams at home; parents, Michelle (Tim) Limerick of Kimmell and John McKibbin of Millersburg; seven siblings: Brandy, Brooke, Bryan, Jerod, Austin, Alexis, and Benjamin; grandmothers, Jane McDonald of Ligonier and Patricia McKibbin of Millersburg; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Michael McKibbin; a maternal great-grandfather, Herndon McDonald; and an uncle, Brian Adams.
He attended West Noble High School where he ran cross country and had great admiration for his music teacher, Michael Miller who inspired him to learn and love music. And that he did. He could sing well and played numerous instruments fluently.
Justin Adams was talented beyond music and had many varied interests. Those included, traveling, skydiving, fishing, cooking, and being on the water. He possessed a photographic memory, was quick witted, and had a very contagious laugh.
More than anything, Justin loved his son, Aiden along with all of his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in Justin’s honor at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.
Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 9, and from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Yeager Funeral Home. A private cremation committal will take place following the services at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center.
Memorial contributions may be directed to his son’s mother Brittany Tackett, for the care of their son, Aiden.
