Christian DeHaven
Christian “Chris” DeHaven, 64, Warsaw, passed away at 7:58 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in his residence.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1953, to David and JoAnne (Grasso) DeHaven in Glendora, Calif.
He was a former resident of Torrance, Calif., graduated high school in Commack Long Island, N.Y. and has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 12 years.
On Feb. 14, 1988, he was united in marriage to Carol (Dudek) DeHaven in Las Vegas, N.V. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; during his time in the service he was stationed in the Philippines. He worked in the technology industry as a business analyst. He was a member of Warsaw Community Church and played bass guitar in the worship team band; formerly he attended Community Grace Brethren Church as well.
In addition; he enjoyed table tennis, billiards, and bicycling. He loved his Golden Retrievers and especially loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Carol DeHaven, Warsaw; sons, Maxwell (spouse Josi) DeHaven, Middlebury; Anthony DeHaven, Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; brothers: Paul DeHaven, Erich DeHaven; sisters: Belinda Penrose, Nina Donnelly, Concetta Matosian; sister-in-law: Cathy (spouse Patrick) Redmond; and a nephew: Adam Redmond also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl DeHaven.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with all arrangements.
