Area Accident Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
10:20 a.m. Thursday, March 8, North Old Road 15, north of East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Andrew M. Ormanovich, 25, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Ormanovich was driving south on Old SR15 when a deer entered the roadway in front of his vehicle. He swerved his vehicle and avoided the deer, but lost control of his vehicle. Ormanovich’s vehicle went off the road and up onto a railroad track. Damage up to $10,000.
Marshall
The following accident was investigated by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department:
5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Marc 6, 2400 block US 6, Bremen. Drivers: Maribel Sosa, Bremen, and Jesse M. Manderson III, Indianapolis. Sosa complained of pain to the legs and was transported to Bremen Hospital. Sosa reportedly fell asleep while driving, crossed the centerline, hitting the Manderson vehicle, a semi tractor and trailer, head on. Sosa was extricated from her vehicle.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:51 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 949 Walkers Ridge, Warsaw. Driver: Moses L. McNees, 54, South Detroit Street, Warsaw. McNees was driving east on Walkers Ridge and pulled into a driveway to turn around. As he was backing out of the driveway, McNees’ vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
