With all the vandalism that has been going on in the town park. Mentone resident Brian Iddles took it on himself to purchase paint and repaint the picnic tables and the pavilion. Mr Iddles said that he looks at it as not just a town park but his park.
This park belongs to all of us, and we need to work together to help making it look good. Mr Iddles walks in the park daily and has always taken the time to pick up trash off the ground and picking up the trash cans that the raccoons knock over. Brian is also a board member on the Lawrence D. Bell Museum and takes pride in his community.
On behalf of the Mentone Town Council and Utilities Superintendent Josh Shepherd we would like to say thank you. It’s always good to see that we have people in Mentone that take pride in our community and are willing to go out of their way to make our community a great place to live. Thank you.
