Michael Robert White, 72, of Wabash, died at 1:40 am, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1945 in Huntington to Robert E. and Eleanor (Dimond) White.
White was a 1963 graduate of Wabash High School, and a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He was a retired truck driver for Panther Expedited Services. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, assembling and flying model airplanes, and his dog, Lucy.
He is survived by two sons, Michael G. “Mick” (Angela) White and Matthew (Monica) White; eight grandchildren, Madison White, Noah White, Peyton Sluss, Ethyn Sluss, Leah Sluss, Tyler Garrard, Jacob White, and Bryce White, all of Wabash; and two sisters, Beverly Sutula of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Barbara (Jim) Oakley of Hallsville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
