Dorcas A. Kipker
Dorcas A. Kipker, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 3:35 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on Dec. 7, 1933 in Warsaw to Roger and Bessie (Snellenberger) McConnell.
On April 8, 1955, in Warsaw, she was united in marriage to Elzin A. Kipker, who preceded her on Dec. 11, 2016. She was formerly employed by the Times Union, United Telephone Company, and Da-Lite Screen. In addition, she was a homemaker and a Farm Wife. She loved her children, grandchildren, traveling, fishing and spending time outdoors. She also loved her beloved Cocker Spaniels.
She is survived by her sons: Edward Allen (spouse Tylynna) Kipker of Warsaw; Jerald Andrew (spouse Lisa J.) of Warsaw; a daughter, Lisa (spouse Kevin Keats) Kipker of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lynzy (spouse Paul) Finnegan of Bloomington; Austin (spouse Ashley) Caudill of Warsaw; Nicole Caudill of Warsaw; and four great grandchildren; Grayla Finnegan, Chandler Caudill, Brynly Caudill and Isaiah and Zander Valdez.
She was preceded by her husband; Elzin and siblings Pat ( John) Stookey, Glen (Fannie) McConnell, David (Dodie) McConnell and Linda (Dean) Hair, Larry’s twin sister.
Visitation is scheduled from 1-5 p.m., Sunday, March 4, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 5, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Jack Worth will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
