DeLynn Geiger Running For County Commissioner Position
KOSCIUSKO — DeLynn Geiger has filed for candidacy for Kosciusko County Commissioner – Southern District.
Geiger has been a resident of Kosciusko since obtaining a bachelor’s degree in education and communication at Grace College. Geiger then started his business, Geiger Excavating, in 1974. Currently, Geiger owns and operates Geiger Trenchless Solutions located on SR 15, Warsaw.
Geiger stated his reasons for seeking the county commissioner seat. With his family’s support, he shared this is a great season of his life to become more involved in serving this county as he can share his years of experience in infrastructure, drainage, agriculture, and a vast amount of other areas of knowledge. In his business, he listens and always seeks the best way to serve his customers with their best interest in mind first. He would continue this practice for the residents of Kosciusko County. Geiger is well-known in the county for his innovative problem solving skills. He also stated the next several years will be critical for the growth of the county and by working together we will build a better future for Kosciusko County.
Geiger encourages residents to become more involved and having their voice heard by casting their votes at the primary on Tuesday, May 8. “The biggest misconception about the county commissioner race is that you need to live in the southern district to place your vote for me. This is a county-wide election so all registered voters in the county will have my name on their ballot and can select me as their next commissioner”, stated Geiger. To register to vote or to check on voting status, visit indianavoters.in.gov or kcgov.com. The last day to register to vote is April 9, and absentee voting information is available.
Geiger was recently named as a board member for Kosciusko County Farm Bureau with the position of national legislative liaison and will travel to Washington, D.C. in March to represent our county in that role.
