Sandra R. Redington
Sandra R. Redington, 87, Warsaw, passed away at 3:09 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. She was born on November 8, 1930 to Jesse E. and Ruth R. (Cook) Rice in Warsaw.
She was a 1949 graduate of Warsaw High School.
She was united in marriage on Aug. 15, 1957, to Richard Tyler Redington in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She worked for Cardinal Services, Sun Metal Products and many other businesses in the accounts receivable and payable departments.
She enjoyed living in the lake area and visiting with her friends and former classmates.
Mrs. Redington is survived by her daughter, Christine (Jim) Mowrey, Pierceton; a son, Ray (Cathy Garrison) Redington, Warsaw; grandchildren: Danielle Mowery, Seth (Meghan) Mowery, Taylor (Westin) Becker, Ryan (Natalie) Garrison and Ean (Jessica) Redington; great grandchildren: Hally and Phoenix Garrison, Levi and Lily Redington and a great friend of the family, Brian Bibler. She is preceded by her parents, husband and a brother James L. Rice.
Mrs. Redington was a person who used her wonderful sense of humor and her creative use of the English language to lighten the mood when things weren’t so pleasant.
There will be a private family gathering and interment at a later date.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made to the Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, Inc., P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, IN 46581-1196.
The arrangements are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
