Grace Basketball: Trio Saluted By Conference
WINONA LAKE – Three members of the Grace College men’s basketball team were named to the All-Crossroads League Team on Wednesday.
Logan Godfrey picked up Third Team All-League recognition, Matt Jennings was an All-Freshman Team honoree, and Erik Bowen was named honorable mention.
Godfrey led Grace this year in many statistical categories. He averaged team-highs of 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor. He had five double-doubles and topped 20 points in 10 games.
Jennings was one of the top freshmen in the Crossroads League. He tallied 13.2 points per game to go along with 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He shot 33 percent from beyond the arc and a team-high 88 percent from the free throw line.
Bowen finished his sterling four-year career by averaging 12.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He shot 50 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the free throw line.
