LEESBURG — A Leesburg man was arrested after slapping a female victim during an argument about his drug habits.

On Feb. 16, an officer with the Syracuse Police Department responded to a domestic battery complaint. The female victim advised that Cretcher had brought three children to her residence for a visit. The children were all in the living room playing.
Cretcher was talking with the female about a letter she had written to the court in regards to him smoking marijuana around the children. Cretcher became angry and slapped the female on the left side of her face. The officer was able to observe a red, swollen area on the left side of the victim’s face. One of the children was able to hear the altercation, but none of them saw it.
