Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:02 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 9700 block East Rock A Bye Road, Cromwell. Police responded to a report of a theft from a camper outside of a resident’s home.
- 7:53 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2800 block South SR25 and South CR 450W, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of damage sustained to a vehicle from a pothole on SR25.
- 7:28 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 9600 block North Sandpoint Drive, Cromwell. Police responded to the report of a coat falling off of a car. When the owner went to retrieve the coat, it and the debit card inside were missing. The card was used shortly after. Value: $30.
- 11:14 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2900 block East Joshua Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of theft. Someone reported that knives were stolen from their residence. Value: $600.
- 12:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 8200 block East Asbury Lane, North Webster. A report of criminal mischief was made. A person reported that the windshield of her vehicle had been shot out with a BB gun.
- 10:56 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 7200 block West CR 850N, Etna Green. Police responded to a report of a destroyed mailbox by a firework.
- 10:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 6900 block West CR 850N, Etna Green. Police responded to a report of mailbox damage caused by fireworks.
- 2:27 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 200 block East Birchwood Ct., Warsaw. Police responded to a report of bank credit card fraud.
- 12:53 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 3100 block North Stoneburner Road, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of criminal mischief.
- 4:17 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 200 block East Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Police responded to a report of a verbal argument and learned of an incident of battery from the day prior.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 7:33 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 900 block North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Police responded to a report of fraud.
- 4:28 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 1400 block North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Police responded to a report of possession of marijuana.
- 10:46 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 500 block West Railroad Avenue, Syracuse. Police responded to a report of false informing.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 11:03 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 3600 block Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Police took a hit and run accident report.
- 9:46 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2500 block Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of fraud.
- 7:39 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 1000 block South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of a found bike.
- 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 1600 block East Main Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of someone leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
- 5:09 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 300 block South Columbia Street and West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. A traffic stop occurred, and a driver was cited for driving while suspended prior.
- 11:55 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 500 block West Market Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of damage to a vehicle.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 1:46 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 15400 block 12th Road, Plymouth. Police received several reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Twin Lakes area. Officers took reports from addresses on Cook Lake Trail, 12th Road and Lawrence Lake Drive. Most of the items were confined to smaller items including items containing small amounts of money such as wallets and purses.
