Randall Ray Piper — UPDATED
Randall (Randy) Ray Piper, 67, Warsaw, passed away Feb. 13, 2018, after a 15-month battle of Lymphoma. He was born on Nov. 15, 1950, to V. Ray and Rosemary (Spangle) Piper, along with his twin brother, Rodney, in Wabash.
He never stopped smiling. Known for his contagious laugh and rock-n-roll attitude, he will live in the hearts of all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. He enjoyed “shootin’ the breeze” with his friends and family, playing air drums and guitar to classic rock, telling jokes, and could see the silver lining in any situation. He showed his talents in woodworking through construction for 35+ years. His blood, sweat and tears were spread all across the country in countless homes and businesses with astounding craftsmanship.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Ray Piper.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kathy Piper; parents, V. Ray and Rosemary Piper; son, Jeremy (Stephanie); step-children: Kelly (Deigo) Basalo and Nathan (Amy) Packer. He also leaves behind seven siblings: Deborah (Dennis) Alvarez, Rodney Piper (his twin), Kimra Olde, Pamela (Roger) Piper-Ruth, Laura (Ric) Kingsley, Ryan (Diane) Piper, Reid Piper, and lots of nieces, nephews and grandchildren, who will dearly miss him. “You the man, Ran”
Memorial service arrangements are pending. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with the arrangements.
