Clarence Ray Trusty
Clarence Ray Trusty, 60, Wabash, died at 11:32 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born Jan. 24, 1958 in Richmond, Va., to Troy and Shirley (Waldon) Trusty.
He was a 1976 graduate of Wabash High School. He retired from GDX Automotive in Wabash after 28 years. He attended the Christian Heritage Church in Wabash and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed guns, woodworking, carpentry work and civil war history.
He is survived by two children: Tarrence (Melinda) Trusty, Wabash; and Alethea (Mack) Eudy, Roann; father and step-mother, Troy and Winona Trusty, Wabash; six grandchildren: Brady Layne, Muncie; Christa Murray, Wabash; Cassie Eudy, Roann; Kourtney Trusty, Ariston Trusty and Sophie Trusty, all of Wabash; and his great-granddaughter, Braelyn Blackburn, Wabash. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Trusty, and sister, Sherena Trusty.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
