Bonnie Jean (Minnick) Vielhauer Williamson
Bonnie Jean (Minnick) Vielhauer Williamson, 76, Albion, passed away at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at her home on Big Lake. Born Dec. 23, 1941, in the small community of Cosperville, she was the daughter of Orval L. and Ruth May (Hall) Minnick.
She attended Elmhurst High School and Ivy Tech College. Along with being a homemaker raising her five children, she had worked for Magnavox and Indiana Wire & Die. With a big and carrying heart, she loved spending time with her family and she also loved helping out the Amish, driving them around over the years.
She had attended 3rd Street Church of God. Over the years, she enjoyed fishing, quilting, playing on the computer, home shopping, traveling along with riding her horse Chance and watching horses.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Max Vielhauer Williamson; children: Jerry “Max” (Gaylynn) Vielhauer, Columbia City, Cindy Jo Vielhauer, Fort Wayne, Delores Ann Vielhauer, Fort Wayne, Candy Jean Vielhauer, Fort Wayne and Tina (Brian) Vielhauer Chalmers, Albion; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Minnick, Hagerstown, 12 grandchildren: Crystal Vielhauer, Dustin Vielhauer, Danielle Vielhauer, Robbie Ramsey, Jessica Ramsey, Racheal Ramsey, Adina Vielhauer, Billy Vielhauer, Aaron Wills, David Navrotsky, Asia Navrotsky and Bonnie Navrotsky; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jonathen Mathew Vielhauer; brother, William Minnick; sister, Nancy Minnick Benz; and grandchildren, Tekia Vielhauer and Bradly Vielhauer.
Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Williamson’s memory to Riley Children’s Foundation.
