MILFORD – The Milford girls basketball program took on West Noble Monday night.

The eighth grade got into a defensive battle before losing 12-7, the seventh grade got its first win 26-9, and the sixth grade fell 25-17 in the A game and 13-12 in the B game.

Avery Conley led the seventh grade with a robust 19 points and Jewel Sylvester chipped in three points. Emma Young led the sixth grade with 10 points and Stephanie Anacleto made three of her first four shots and ended with seven points in the A game, and led the B team with six points. Stats were not provided from the eighth grade game.

Over the weekend, the eighth grade team lost both of its games at the Westview tournament to Westview and Churubusco. Scores were not provided, but Emily Haines was cited in the Westview game to have scored 14 points.
