INDIANAPOLIS — The two-time Super Bowl champion will get behind the driver’s seat at the 2018 Daytona 500.
It was announced on Tuesday that he will drive the Honorary Pace Car for the 60th annual Daytona 500 on Feb. 18, according to Daytona International Speedway. The first running of the Daytona 500 was held in 1959.
“Serving as the Honorary Pace Car Driver will be a truly unique and exciting experience,” Manning said. “I want to thank NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway and Nationwide for making this possible. I’m really looking forward to race day.”
Manning will drive a Toyota Camry XSE prior to the green flag.
