Area Police Reports
KOSCIUSKO
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 8300 block South SR19, Akron. Police responded to the report of a student having drug paraphernalia in their vehicle during school.
- 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 7900 block East CR 900S, South Whitley. Police were contacted by a family to secure a home and its contents.
- 7:55 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 100 block EMS T16 Lane, Leesburg. Police responded to the report of a domestic disturbance. A male individual stated that his girlfriend had torn up the house and broken his front window.
NORTH WEBSTER
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 4:01 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 300 block South Main Street, North Webster. Police responded to the report of a hit and run accident in the New Market parking lot.
SILVER LAKE
Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 9:53 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 100 block East Main Street, Silver Lake. Police responded to the report of attempted criminal mischief at Lakeview Liquors. Half of a clay brick was used to try and break a door window.
SYRACUSE
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 8:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 200 block of South Front Street, Syracuse. Dwayne Allen Cooper reported theft of electronics and miscellaneous tools.
WARSAW
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 8:01 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 400 block West Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of found property, including firearms and ammunition.
