Leesburg Man Arrested For Residential Entry
LEESBURG—A Leesburg man was arrested after entering a residence he didn’t have permission to be in.
Curtis Wayne Hunley, 45, 41 EMS T16B Lane, Leesburg, is being charged with residential entry, a level 6 felony.
On Feb. 6, officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at a residence. The caller said that no one should be in the residence and that a Cadillac was parked in the driveway.
Officers approached the front door of the residence and found that the door was being propped open. The officers entered the residence and found Hunley hiding under a bed.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the homeowner told officers that no one had permission to be inside his residence. He also said that he had several power tools stolen from the residence.
Hunley admitted that he had been living at the residence, but did not have permission, entering the residence through the back door.
Hunley was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Feb. 3, with a $5,647 surety and cash bond.
