Jacqueline Kay ‘Jackie’ Coy — UPDATED
Jacqueline Kay “Jackie” Coy, 82, Milford, passed away at 11:12 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Milford to Gerald B. and Louise A. (Smaltz) Coy.
She was a lifetime Milford area resident and attended Milford public schools. She formerly worked at Weatherhead Corp. in Syracuse for ten years, N.I.A. in Nappanee for five years, Super Value Stores in Milford for several years and was an apartment manager for Coy/Neer Apartments in Milford for many years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Milford since 1958 and formerly attended Bethel Church of the Brethren in Milford.
She is survived by a son, Rodney A. Coy, South Whitley; sister, Genevieve L. ‘Jenny’ (Jon) Bushong, Syracuse; two brothers: Alan W. Coy, Milford; Reggie E. (Deb) Coy, Leesburg; 15 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sherrie C. Ochs; two brothers: Lloyd and Ermal Coy; niece, Tammy Kaufman; and nephew, Stuart W. Coy.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, at the Milford Cemetery with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
