Wanda Olinger
Wanda L. Olinger, 89, Fulton, passed at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital of Ft. Wayne.
She was born Jan. 23, 1928 in Fulton County to Ralph S. and Nettie E. (Hartzler) Miller.
She retired after 29 years of service to Hart Schaffner & Marx of Rochester. She was a 1946 graduate of Akron High School. She was a member of the Rehoboth Christian Center of Logansport. She enjoyed music and her family as well as crafting. She made ornaments for years for the family.
Survivors and place of residence include two daughters, Kathy and husband Cornelius Troyer, North Manchester, Sharon and husband Jim Berry, Kewanna; one son, Mike and wife Tammy Olinger, Fulton; five grandchildren, Melinda, Jamie, Matthew, Joshua, and Britney; seven step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; three sisters, Marcia and husband Charles Kroft, Syracuse; Janice and husband Richard Smoker, Florence, Kentucky; Kay Harney, Nappanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Nettie Miller; three sisters, Wilda Jean, Maxine, and Geraldine; and two brothers, Ralph “Jr.” and Devon.
Visitation hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, Ind. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, Ind., officiated by Pastor Richard Conrad of the Rehoboth Christian Center. She will be buried in Akron Cemetery, Akron, Ind.
