Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:36 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, South SR 13, north of East CR 200S, Pierceton. Driver: Donald B. Rickman, 60, South CR 775E, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $1,000.
8:35 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, North Price Road and West Price Road, Milford. Driver: Samuel P. Beer, 54, North Price Road, Milford. Beer’s vehicle slide on the ice as it rounded the curve, sliding off the road and hitting a utility pole. Damage under $750
6:56 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, West CR 25S, west of South CR 800W, Etna Green Driver: Forst B. Dunnuck, 85, South CR 950W, Etna Green. Deer hit vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, South SR 25, north of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Scott A. Flannery, 22, Lakeview Boulevard, Warsaw. Flannery ran over a deer that had been killed in the middle of the roadway causing damage to the front side and undercarriage. Damage up to $5,000.
10:21 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, South SR 25, south of West CR 200S, Warsaw Driver: Austin J. Radcliff, 22, Mitchell Drive No. 3, Rochester. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
9:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, South County Farm Road, south of East CR 600S, Warsaw. Driver: John L. Rasmussen, 47, North Poplar Street, Silver Lake. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
3:52 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, North CR 400W, south of West CR 1250N, Milford. Driver: Martina Dawson, 46, CR 28, Goshen, Police were notified of an accident but no one around the vehicle. while en route a second caller reported picking up a female from the accident and taking her to the gas station in Milford. Police were unable to locate the female. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, who could not tell police how her vehicle went off the road. She also told police she didn’t think she had to notify police of the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:46 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Jason A. Coe, 24, South Fosler Avenue, South Whitley, and Tommy L. McKinney, 43, South SR 25, Warsaw. Coe did not see the McKinney vehicle behind him while backing his vehicle from a parking space. Damage up to $2,500.
2:11 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Teresa A. Miller reported sometime overnight an unknown vehicle hit her parked vehicle in front of her apartment at Valley Forge Apartments, Warsaw. Damage up to $1,000.
