New Car Dealership Opening With Extra Focus On Customers And The Buying Experience
WARSAW — Buying a car can be a stressful time for many people with all the paperwork, financial decisions and the inexperience shown by many employees. Co-owners Ryan Ramey and Chris Cummins want to change the way Warsaw customers experience buying a car.
Lake City Motors, located at the old Golden Corral building at 22 Capital Drive, Warsaw, is having its grand opening this Friday, Jan. 19. The grand opening comes after years of planning, months of renovation and countless dreams.
“Although its a new company name, there is nothing new about this,” explains Ramey. “It’s really important to me that everything is done right. Everyone that we have here is very experienced in what they do.”
Ramey began building the business plan for Lake City Motors three years ago after attending Grace College and graduating with a marketing degree. This year will mark his eighth year in the car business and he is determined to create the ultimate car buying experience.
“I just want a family-friendly, fun environment,” said Ramey. “I love selling cars, I love the business and I love the people.”
One of the most important aspects of the dealership to Ramey is the experience of the staff. Ramey says that at age 26 he is the youngest of the 15 employees. Each staff member has the veteran experience necessary to help customers from the moment they enter the door until they are happy with their new car. There will be financing options available for customers of every credit situation.
In addition to the dealership on Capital Drive, Lake City Motors is also opening a full-service center at 3555 Commerce Drive, the location of the old Midas Auto Service. This will ensure that all vehicles bought through Lake City Motors will be fully inspected by certified staff. Extended warranties will also be available on Lake City Motors vehicles.
Lake City Motors specializes in late model, low mile vehicles. The dealership will offer around 160 different vehicles within a few weeks of opening and the inventory will increase to 200 vehicles after a few months. Ramey makes it clear that he is proud of each one of the vehicles on the lot.
Those questioning the condition of the old Golden Corral building have nothing to worry about. Months of hard work was put into renovating the building into its current condition. The building has passed all required tests and inspections, including a soil test. All the plumbing works and the building is in a pristine, new condition.
Lake City Motors will be open 9 to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturdays. Both the dealership and the service center located on Commerce Drive will be open to the public starting this Friday, Jan. 19. For more information, stop by the dealership or call (574) 267-5454.
