Mary Elizabeth Pyle
Mary Elizabeth Pyle, 92, Elkhart, formerly of Goshen, Kendallville, and Warsaw, died 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Golden Living Center, Elkhart. She was born June 24, 1925, in Leiters Ford, to John and Cora Lee Feece. On Sept. 29, 1946, she married Amos Allen Pyle.
Surviving is a son, Richard Pyle, Elkhart; granddaughters, Alisa Bloom, Kendallville; Beth VanWinkle, Huntertown; Amy Smith, Rome City; Katie Pyle, Elkhart; eight great grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, and Erin Bloom, Mishayla and Bailee Hager, Aubrey Weslee, and Zhane Smith; and a great-great grandchild, Emrys. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Amos A. Pyle, daughter, Cheryl Jean VanWinkle, and a sister, Dorothy Jean Blocker.
Pyle was a mother, housewife, and a seamstress for Zimmer Manufacturing, Warsaw and Kline’s Department Store. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.
