WARSAW — While police were investigating multiple complaints of an individual dealing methamphetamine, Monday, Jan. 15, Aaron Hoffman, 34, 3434 W. Doe Court, Warsaw, known to have an active warrant, was seen leaving the property and was stopped by police.
In addition to the narcotic warrant, Hoffman was also found to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.
Hoffman’s warrant, stemming from an Oct. 11, 2017, incident carried charges of dealing in a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony; dealing in a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony. His bond on this warrant was for $10,250 surety and cash.
Court documents state Oct. 11 and 13, the Warsaw Drug Task Force conducted two controlled purchases of heroin from Hoffman. Funds were exchanged for one-half gram in the first purchase and 1 gram in the second purchase.
