Raw Meat Diet Risky For Pets, According To Study
SOUTH BEND — Dog and cat owners are being warned about the risks of a raw meat diet.
A team of researchers in the Netherlands say these products may contain harmful bacteria and parasites.
Their tests showed that a large percentage of commercial raw meat products were contaminated with listeria, E. coli and salmonella.
This bacteria may pose a risk to animal and human health.
