Incumbents Are Majority Of Candidate Filings
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Just several days into the filing period for candidates seeking nominations in the May primary, incumbents are topping the list of the 28 filings. The filing deadline is noon Friday, Feb. 9. All fillings have been by Republicans.
The race for sheriff has been verified with the filing of William “Rocky” Goshert, Anthony W. Ciriello and Kyle P. Dukes. Chris Rager, who has announced his intentions to seek the nomination has yet to file.
Another race is looming, but only for the voters in Plain Township. Current trustee Jerry Kammerer has filed his candidacy, but so has Tyler Huffer.

Tippecanoe Township Trustee — Chris Francis
Lake Township Trustee — Molly Bradford, incumbent
Seward Township Trustee — Aimee A. Hoffman, incumbent
