Children’s Museum Gives Kids A Chance To Talk To Astronauts In Space
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis schoolchildren got an out-of-this-world experience Thursday.
Fourth and fifth graders from several schools came to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis for a live conversation with two astronauts on the International Space Station.
The astronauts showed the kids a floating ball of chocolate milk.
The children had plenty of good questions.
“What does it feel like to be on the space station? We are floating all day long and ‘Woo!'” said Japanese astronaut Norishge Kanai. “We are also, every day, doing interesting experiments, so it’s really fun.”
The earth-to-space call aired live on NASA’s television channel.
