Kosciusko Under Winter Weather Advisory Starting At 10 p.m., Snow And Ice Expected
KOSCIUSKO — According to the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana, a winter weather advisory is in effect for Kosciusko County from 10 p.m. tonight, Jan. 11, until 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12.
Mixed precipitation is expected. The combination of snow and ice will result in difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Friday. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are expected.
Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times. Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
Other areas also under the advisory include St. Joseph, Elkhart, Lagrange, Noble, Marshall, Fulton and Whitley counties.
