Caucus Set To Fill Leesburg Town Council Seat
LEESBURG — Mike Ragan, chairman of the Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee, has set 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, for a caucus to fill the vacancy on the Leesburg Town Council. The vacancy, due to the resignation of Larry Richey, is an at-large seat.
The caucus will be held in the Leesburg Town Council Chambers in the Leesburg Fire Station.
Declarations of candidacy are available at the office of Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, and must be filed with the county Republican chairman no later than 72 hours prior to the commencement of the caucus.
Eligible members of the caucus are the Republican Precinct Committeemen in Plain Township 2, who have served continuously from 30 days prior to the date of the caucus.
