Officers with the Kosciusko County Sherif’s Department investigated the following incidents:
12:12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 5100 block North CR 925E, North Webster. Jessica Signorelli Sumpter reported fraud.
11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 200 block West Main Street, Warsaw. Stanley J. Parzygnot requested a citizens assist.
9:34 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 200 block EMS B40 Lane, Leesburg. Craig S. Hardy reported a theft of a Surface Pro 3 and ring. Value: $900
7:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2400 block West CR 250S, Warsaw. Diane L. Gustafson reported a burglary and theft of glasses, a Vizio TV and Toshiba TV. Value: $670.95
6:06 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 11400 block North Nash Drive, Syracuse. Police responded to a report of invasion of privacy.
9:09 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 3400 block South CR 575E and East CR 350S, Pierceton. Donna M. Sauers reported an accident on private property.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
2:01 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 500 block West Railroad Avenue, Syracuse. Scott M. Glass reported a hit and run.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 11:36 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 3900 block 17C Road, Tippecanoe. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 emergency call regarding a domestic situation on 17C Road, Tippecanoe. The caller reported the suspect was allegedly armed with a knife and was holding his wife against her will. Officers arrived at the scene and the incident was handled peacefully and without further incident. Caleb Geldner, 37, was arrested for domestic battery, intimidation and criminal confinement. His bond was set at $1,500. A case report will be completed and sent to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review and formal criminal charges being filed.
