Warsaw Redevelopment Board Remains Unchanged Moving Into 2018
WARSAW — The Warsaw Redevelopment Commission started 2018 out with a short meeting consisting of annual tasks yesterday, Jan. 8.
Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer was present to give the oaths of office to all six board members. Each member recited the annual oath with no changes in the board. Jeremy Mullins, the non-voting school representative, was absent from the meeting.
“I want to thank you all for your service,” said Thallemer. “I appreciate the time you spend and more importantly the knowledge you provide.”
After the oaths, the board considered nominations for the president, vice president and secretary positions. With unanimous votes, the positions remained the same as last year with Tim Meyer serving as president, Rick Snodgrass serving as vice president and Kim Arnold serving as secretary.
City Planner Jeremy Skinner noted that while the meeting was short, there are many projects being worked on for 2018. Some of the larger projects include the Technology Park and Buffalo Street.
