Delores Ann Mulry — UPDATED
Delores Ann “Dee” Mulry, 81, Cromwell, passed away at 9 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at her home. She was born on April 3, 1936, in Shell Lake, Wisc. to Adolph and Violet (Thibodeaux) Stariha.
She graduated from Shell Lake High School, attended college in Eau Claire, Wisc., and was married to James T. Mulry M.D. who survives. She was a women’s counselor for many years, former owner and operator of Aqua Vista Motel in Shell Lake, Wisc. and formerly worked at Elkhart General Hospital. She grew up [in Shell Lake, Wisc. and lived in Elkhart for many years before moving to Syracuse and Cromwell area on Dec. 5, 1999, from Whitewater, Wisc.
She was a member of the Rock Church in Cromwell. She loved sailing, snowmobiling, was an avid fishing guide in Wisconsin and a former Arthur Murray Dance Instructor.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. James Mulry, Cromwell; four daughters: Robin (J. Brian) Messick, Middlebury; Joy (J. Michael Swearengin) Caton, Phoenix, Ariz.; Julie (Randy) Castetter, Elkhart; and Brianne (Nathan) McLaughlin, Springfield, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Martin, Spring Brook, Wisc.; brother, Donald Stariha, Shell Lake, Wisc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Shawn David Milton, sister, Carol Ann Stariha, and brother, Jerald Stariha.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor’s Gary and Sarah Tuttle officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
