Charlene K. Ramer, age 59, of Nappanee, died at 12:38 a.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at her residence after a short illness. She was born Feb. 21, 1958 in Wakarusa to Lowell and Doris (Martin) Weaver. On March 12, 1977, she married Marvin L. Ramer in Goshen.
Mrs. Ramer was a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Ramer is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Marvin Jay (Esther) Ramer Jr., Sauk Centre, Minn., Andrew (Stephanie) Ramer, New Paris, Marilyn (Conrad) Martin, Millersburg, Rhoda Ramer, Kathleen Ramer, both of Nappanee, Susan (Eldon) Heatwole, Bremen, Devon (Laura) Ramer, Milford, Allen (Lisa) Ramer, New Paris, Kevin (Susannah) Ramer, Nappanee, Lorene (Brendan) Zimmerman, Akron, Arlin (Alyssa) Ramer, Goshen, Mark (Kayla) Ramer, New Paris, Linda Ramer, Nappanee; 48 grandchildren; mother, Doris Weaver, Goshen; sisters, Elaine (Harlan) Zimmerman, Akron, Mary Jane Weaver, Goshen; and brothers, Steven (Sheryl) Weaver, Goshen, Glenn (Ruth Ann) Weaver, Wakarusa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Weaver, Dec. 20, 2017.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7 and Monday, Jan. 8 at Harrison Christian School. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9 at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church. Officiating will be the Home Conference Ministry. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church Cemetery.
