Elim Smith Voted In As President Of Alcohol Beverage Board
WARSAW —During yesterday’s meeting of the Kosciusko Alcoholic Beverage Board, Jan. 4, Elim Smith was voted in as president for 2018.
Smith is taking over after the unexpected passing of former president Gordon Vanator in November 2017. Member Dan Woods made the motion with officer April Tackett seconding. The board is still seeking a third member after the retiring of Kenneth Johnson in October.
One new license was seen in this month’s meeting. Jack Birch was present with Vandelay Industries, LLC, doing business as Man Cave Brewing Company, 10201 SR 13, Syracuse. The existing brewery is looking into expanding into the sale of wine and liquor. The license was approved.

- HAE Investments, doing business as Redwood Firewood Grill & Bar, 2604 Shelden St., Warsaw. Beer, wine and liquor – restaurant.
- Wagon Wheel Productions, Inc., doing business as Wagon Wheel Theatre, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw. Beer, wine and liquor – restaurant.
