Dale H. Stiffler
Dale H. Stiffler, 90, Mentone, passed away at 10:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Millers Merry Manor of Warsaw.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1927, in Elkhart to Hobart and Lura (Williamson) Stiffler.
He married on March 20, 1955, in Millersburg at the Fish Lake Lutheran Church to Oretha C. Bickel; she preceded on Nov. 28, 2008.
Dale was a farmer and a carpenter for many years.
He was a graduate of Elkhart High School in 1945. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a part of the first group of soldier to be drafted from Kosciusko County. He was discharge at the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of the Warsaw American Legion. He enjoyed farming, gardening and raising animals which included sheep and hogs.

Place of Burial: Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, with graveside military rites being performed by the Warsaw American Legion Post 49
Visitation Hours: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
