Syracuse
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:23 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, North Turkey Creek Road, north of East Wawasee Lane, Syracuse. Drivers: Dustin G. Garber, 25, Wild Rose Road, New Paris, and James E. Cavender, 47, EMS T7A Lane, Leesburg. Garber lost control of the vehicle and was blocking the road when Cavender’s vehicle swerved to avoid the collision and hit a telephone pole. Damages up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:09 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2473 Jalynn St., Warsaw. Drivers: Joy M. Ellis, 48, South Cr 1000W, Akron, and Billy J. Hall, 24, East CR 800S, Claypool. Ellis’ vehicle slid into Hall’s while exiting McDonald’s. Damages up to $2,500.
10:33 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 1 Administration Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Michelle D. Hollar, 46, North Williamson Drive, Warsaw. Slid into a parked vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
7:58 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, Commerce Drive, south of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Amanda M. Elder, 30, Normandy Lane, Warsaw, and Loren K. Landis, 53, East North Street, Ossian. Elder’s vehicle slid into Landis’s trailer. Damages up to $5,000.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
6:32 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 100 block SR 17 and 12th Road, Lake Latonka. Driver: Hope Fish, 21, Plymouth. Police responded to an accident and found that Fish had slowed her vehicle to turn onto 12th Road, when a small black passenger car struck the rear drivers’ side of Fish’s vehicle. The other vehicle then left the scene. The collision is still under investigation and anyone with information is requested to contact Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Nicholas Laffoon.
