Velda Fulford, 95, Syracuse, passed away Dec. 24, 2017, at the Courtyard Healthcare Center.
She was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Rural Ligonier to Leonard and Velma Ruth (Judy) Kline.
On Feb. 21, 1959, she married Theodorore “Ted” Fulford who preceded her in 1995. She was a lifelong Syracuse resident. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, the American Legion #223 in Syracuse, the Eagles #3760 in Syracuse, and the Red Hats.
She is survived by her daughters: Diane (Gary) Miller of Goshen; Peggy (Andrew) Miller, Syracuse; and Susan (David) Coy, Syracuse; ten grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers, Theldon “Bud” Kline and Howard Kline; two sisters, Betty Broekers and Burden Meyer.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor David Henry officiating. Burial will follow at the McClintic cemetery.
