Mildred Lucile Hill, 103, Silver Lake, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born Oct., 28, 1914, to Roy and Elvah Kline in Silver Lake. Mildred graduated from Silver Lake School in 1933. She married Donald Hill on Dec. 19, 1936. She was a member of the West Eel River Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake.
She is survived by five children: Philip (Brenda) Hill, Silver Lake, Joan Hill, North Manchester, Wayne (Barbara) Hill, Silver Lake, Patsy (Mike) Wilhelm, Macy, Nancy (Dale) Bradford, Disko; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren. One brother, Robert (Joyce) Kline, Warsaw, three sisters Margaret Reed, Warsaw, Evelyn Jagger, Silver Lake, and Marilyn Haney, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother Joe, 2 sisters Pauline and Opal, and 5 brothers-in-law.
Mildred was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed her plants and flowers.
Friends and family may call at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, Dec. 22.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN. Pastor Ben Pippen will officiate.
