Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
9:01 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, West CR 400N, west of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda S. Herendeen, 37, North CR 200W, Warsaw. Lost control of vehicle and rolled it. Damages up to $10,000.
7:42 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, East Backwater Road, east CR 1000E, North Webster. Driver: Teresa R. Medina, 29, North Olive Street, Cromwell. Hit a deer. Damages up to $2,500.
7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, West CR 1350N, west of North CR 400W, Milford. Driver: Lori A. Wesley, 56, Meadows, Nappanee. Slid off the road and rolled after hitting ice. Injured; Wesley complained of head pain and received a cut on her hand but was treated on site. Damages up to $5,000.
6:06 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, West CR 1350N, west of North CR 400W, Milford. Driver: Ricky A. Duchaine, 39, Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse. Slid on ice and spun off the road causing the car to roll onto its side. Damages up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:26 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, North Parker Street, south of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Angela B. Jarrett, 36, North CR 650E, Pierceton, and Tracy L. Rippy, 54, Nutmeg Meadows Drive, Plymouth. Jarrett’s vehicle rear-ended Rippy’s. Damages up to $2,500.
Elkhart
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
5:02 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, CR 42 and Pioneer Street, Goshen. Driver: Joshua Parish, 34, Cromwell. Parish complained of facial pain and suffered minor lacerations. Also injured was Valerie Ibarra, 23, Cromwell, passenger, who complained of facial pain. Parish slid off the north side of the ice covered roadway hitting a tree head on. Parish and Ibarra were taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment. The cause was due to speeds too fast for road conditions.
