Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigate the following accidents:
7:35 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, East CR 1250N, west of North East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Dalton J. Perish, 18, North Candy Cane Lane, Cromwell. Perish lost control of his vehicle on an ice covered road and could not regain control before striking a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
5:53 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, North Syracuse-Webster Road, south of East CR 1200N, Syracuse. Driver: Carisa J. Addison, 33, South Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse. One od Addison’s tires left the roadway and she was unable to return to the road, colliding with a mailbox and a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:48 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, East US 30, west of Old US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Daman A. Hill, 39, East Pierceton Road, Warsaw, and Lori K. Pennington, 16, Lexington Drive, Winona Lake. Hill’s vehicle rear-ended Pennington’s. Damage up to $2,500.
5:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, South Zimmer Road and White Industrial Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Cory A. White, 28, North Camelot Lane, Cromwell, and Sasha L. Hollett, 30, West CR 250S, Warsaw. White’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with Hollett’s. White was arrested for fleeing the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
8:17 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, Argonne Road and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Bryan K. Besson, 48, Oriole Drive, Warsaw. Besson did not remember the accident and thought he may have had a seizure. Witnesses stated his vehicle went up a stone embankment before flipping over and landing on it’s roof. Damage up to $10,000.
