Evelyn Marie Braman
Evelyn Marie Braman, 92, Rochester, passed away at 11:20 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Life Care Center of Rochester.
On September 28, 1925, Evelyn was born in Fulton County to Fred K. and Mildred Fultz Van Duyne.
Evelyn and Calvin Braman were married in the First Presbyterian Church of Rochester on Nov. 23, 1946. They shared 58 years of life’s adventures. Sadly Cal passed away on May 21, 2014. Their union produced three daughters and three sons. They were blessed with the additional blessings of ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by two daughters: Judy Taylor and husband Russ of Plymouth, Pat Rathbun and husband Cam of Akron; three sons: Bill Braman and wife Georgina of St. Augustine Beach, Fla.; Phil Braman and wife Monica of Warsaw, John Braman, of Hamden, Conn.; ten grandchildren: Andrea Bortell, Matthew Braman, Christopher Braman, Tom Braman, Rhen Taylor, Gail Crone, Heather Buckley, Derek Adamson, Clayton Adamson, Katie Braman Green; eight great grandchildren: Kevin Braman, Elise Bortell, Brenna Bortell, Natalie Crone, Liam Buckley, Brock Adamson, Parker Adamson, Kenzie Adamson; a sister, Marilyn Masterson and husband Randy of Rochester; a brother, Fredrick Van Duyne, of Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Evelyn in death are her parents; husband; a daughte, Sherri Adamson; a brother at the age of 2; and two sisters-in-law: Marjorie Phillips and Dorcas Van Duyne.
Pastor William Cleyman will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
