Betty Lou Gebert — UPDATED
Betty Lou Gebert, 86, Pierceton, passed Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.. She was born on May 6, 1931 to Glen and Grace (O’Connell) Neer in Warsaw.
She has been a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was united in marriage to Donald Gebert on Dec. 15, 1952 in Pierceton.
She was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked for The Pizza Stop, Video Store and as a beautician all in Pierceton.
Betty loved planting flowers, crocheting and redecorating the house. She was a very hard working woman as she passed that on to her children.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Gebert of Pierceton; her children, David (Kim) Gebert of Boca Raton, Florida, Brian (Kim) Gebert of Warsaw and Melissa (Rick) Bollinger of South Whitley, Indiana; grandchildren, Nick and Alexis Gebert, Toby Jackson, Crystal, Chloe, Kendal and R.J. Bollinger and niece, Randy Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dick and Bob Neer.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday Dec. 14, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton with Lew Collier officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 13, at the Pierceton Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
