WINONA LAKE – Jake Harmon threw down a career-high 22 points Friday night as Lakeland Christian Academy picked up a 60-40 boys basketball win against Portage Christian.
Harmon his four treys and had 18 of his total in the first half. By the buzzer, LCA had doubled up Portage, 36-18, and were well on its way to evening up its record at 3-3.
Josh McDaniel chipped in 17 points and Elijah Raymond added nine points and nine rebounds for the winners.
Noble Dennie and Mason Therault each scored eight points for Portage Christian.
The LCA JV pulled out a 39-36 overtime win over PCHS.
The Cougars will look for its fourth win Tuesday night when it hosts the Warriors of North Miami.
