Christopher Jon Cullison
Christopher Jon Cullison, 54, South Bend, passed into the hands of God after a long battle with cancer at 10:39pm on December 4th, 2017 in St. Joseph Hospital Regional Medical Center.
Christopher Cullison was born January 26th, 1963 to Stephen F Cullison and Margaret A. (Irey) Cullison in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1981 and went on to graduate Cum Laude from Ball State University, in 1989 with a degree in Industrial Arts Technology Education. Christopher was married Dorothy Hathaway and they had four children. He worked for the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Inc, for 23 years and worked his way up to Director of Facilities.
Christopher enjoyed traveling the world on hiking trips, personal training at Beacon Health & Fitness, sailing at the Eagle Lake Yacht Club, hunting, and snowmobiling with friends. His favorite places on earth were at work and Granada, Spain. He was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to step forward to help a friend in need. Chris was dependable, dedicated, and the first to offer solutions to a problem. He was well loved by his family and children, and will be greatly missed.
Christopher is survived by both of his parents, Stephen F Cullison and Margaret A. (Irey) Cullison of Warsaw, his four children, Austin W. Cullison, Greenville, Texas, Kathryn L. Cullison, South Bend, Megan A. Cullison, South Bend and Madeline N. Cullison, Osceola. He is also survived by his two younger brothers, Charles (Janet) Cullison of Kouts and James Cullison of Plano, Ill.
Friends and Family may visit on Saturday, 9:30 – 11 a.m. Deaton-Clemens funeral home 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with PastorJim Lawson officiating. A private burial will follow at the Etna Cemetery in Etna Green.
