Carl Max Schultz
Carl Max Schultz, known by everyone as just Max, Warsaw, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center of Warsaw at the age of 76.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1941 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to Cleo M. (Miller) Schultz and Karl Francis Schultz. On Nov. 21, 1987 he was married to Linda Sue (Robowski) Schultz, who survives in Warsaw.
Max was a 1959 graduate of Wapakoneta High School in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He had worked as a deputy sheriff for Auglaize County, Ohio for a number of years. In 1976 he moved to Warsaw, where he worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways for many years. Max also worked for the City of Warsaw and the Kosciusko County Highway Department. He loved wood working, refurbishing John Deere tractors, and painting. Most of all Max dearly loved his family and grandchildren, no matter what. He will be missed and forever loved.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Linda Sue Schultz, Warsaw; three sons: Robert (Becky) Schultz, Lima, Ohio; Karl (fiancée Melissa) Schultz, Valparaiso; Kyle (Alicia) Schultz, Warsaw; two daughters: Catherine Stevens, Lima, Ohio; and Christina (Dave) Emmons, Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren: Brian, Alex, Alayna, Dakota, Carley, Kylie, Shawna and Preston. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Dennis L. Bollenbacher.
